A few pictures from our recent trip...

I told y'all a couple of weeks ago that we were headed to Portland, Oregon for a wedding.  We went for five days and had such a good time!  Peanut did so well on the plane, but the hardest part was getting him adjusted to the time difference.  The first morning we were there he woke up at 4:30 am.  Yup, you read that right.  Apparently, there's a 4:30 AM as well, sheesh.  He finally seems to be adjusting BACK to central time now.

He really loved the plane and barely seemed to notice take off and landing.  The hardest part was definitely that he couldn't move as much as he would have liked.  We got him his own seat, and although he didn't sit in it much, it was so nice to have the extra room.

One of my favorite parts about the trip was enjoying all of the amazing gluten free food options Portland has.  It was truly amazing and eye-opening about how far Houston is behind on that front. There were two kinds of cake at the wedding... both delicious and both gluten free!

While we were there, Peanut stood up completely on his own for the first time.  I was so shocked and excited, but I barely think he noticed!

What?  So I'm standing. It's like a big deal??

One of the days we were there, we took a trip up to Mount Hood to the Timberline Lodge.  It would have been really cool, but the weather was terrible!  We had hoped to take Peanut outside to play in the snow, but it was out of the question.  He was not pleased with the hat we made him wear, but he got tons of compliments on it!

Okay, well I think that's about it.  It was a great time and as exhausting as it was, I can't wait to take our next family trip!
